The commission arrived as editorial projects often do: with a finalized manuscript, a pre-existing photographic archive, and a fixed print deadline. The task was to create a grid that could support the book’s two distinct formats—long-form historical essays and nine-field technical entries repeated for each timepiece—and sustain it seamlessly across 572 pages.
